Newfoundland Fish Cakes
1 lb. Cooked Salt Cod (deboned & skin removed)
5 or 6
Potatoes (mashed)
1 med. Onion (chopped small)
Dash of Pepper (to
taste)
Flour for coating
Butter or Margarine
Mix fish,
pototoes, onion, and pepper and form
into patties. Coat with flour.
Fry in butter or
margarine until brown on both sides.
Serve alone
or with salad and dinner rolls.
